Vncent Pascarella Sr. Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Vincent J. Pascarella, Sr., 84, on Monday September 20, 2021 at the Saratoga Hospital after a brief illness.

Vince was born and raised in the Schenectady area. He was a proud Air Force veteran, and throughout his life pursued meaningful occupations: G.E. Lathe Operator, EMT, Real Estate Agent, and Memorial Stone Sales Representative.

He was passionate about golf, cooking, playing his guitar and singing with his wife (both at home and in church), woodworking, and an avid NY Giants fan. He was a gentle soul who never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him.

Vince is predeceased by his parents, Michele Pascarella and Concetta (Jenny) Santarcangelo-Pascarella. Also predeceased are his daughter Lisa, and brothers Michael and Fred Pascarella.

Vince is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joyce (Tino) Pascarella, son Vincent Pascarella, Jr., and (step) children Joseph Moran, Jr (wife Pam), Annie Moran, and Jacquelynn Skaarup (husband Patrick). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.

A private viewing was held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home in Scotia, NY., with a Military Honors burial service on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in the Park Cemetery, Scotia, NY.
