Theresa Marie Crane On July 22nd Theresa Marie Crane age 57, the beloved daughter of (Deacon) John & Shirley Crane of Scotia, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after a courageous seven year battle with neuroendocrine cancer.

Theresa faced each day with remarkable strength, grace, and faith. In her final days, she was lovingly cared for by her sister Colleen, and her niece, Felicia, who remained faithfully by her side until the very end. Born on October 3 1968, Theresa was raised in Scotia, NY. She attended Mohawk School and graduated from Scotia Glenville High School in 1986. At 17 years old she began her career with NY State dedicating nearly 40 years of service in several agencies. She retired just last year.Theresa cherished her family. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with those she loved and was always the first to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or a caring heart. Cape Cod was Theresa's happy place a place where she found peace and joy. She loved biking, canoeing, and especially drawing. A gifted artist, she created her own line of greeting cards called "TCards," sharing her creativity and talent with others. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, compassion, and selfless desire to make life better for everyone around her. She gave freely of herself, always putting others before herself, and leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten. She is survived by her loving parents, John & Shirley Crane of Scotia, her devoted sister, Colleen Trimboli & her husband, Frank, of Ellenton, Florida. her brothers, John Crane Jr. and his partner, Luboš of Prague, CZ, and Michael Crane of Scotia. She is also survived by her cherished nieces, Felicia Wingle and her husband, Randy of Schenectady, and Julia Wingle and her partner, Connor, of Asheville, NC, Samantha Trimboli of Mechanicville, and Kyle Trimboli of Guilderland. Theresa also leaves behind her beloved cat, Chloe, whose brought her endless joy and unconditional love. We want to thank Dr Mason of Glens Falls Hospital, and Dr Rahman of St Peter's for their excellent care and Father Tom Konopka for being there for "T" and her family. We find comfort in knowing that Theresa is now free from pain and reunited with the Lord. She will always be close to our hearts. "Well done, good and faithful servant... Viewing hours will be at Bekkerings funeral home, 1 Mohawk Ave Scotia, NY on Monday the 27th from 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday the 28th at 11 A.M at St Joseph's Church, 231 Second Street, Scotia. Interment will be at Park Cemetery in Scotia.
