Stanley Borden

Stanley Borden, 74 died Friday, October 29, 2021, at the Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, in Amsterdam, NY.  He was born in Cohoes, NY on May 28, 1947.

He was the son of the late Raymond and Rose (Beauchamp) Borden. He graduated from the Shenendehowa High School in 1965.

A lifetime area resident he worked as an engineer for the Water Department in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Stanley was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Clifton Park, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents along with his sister Joan.

Stanley is survived by his wife Lela (Pink) Borden, a daughter Rosanna M. Borden, a son Shaun R. Borden, a stepson Thomas Moran (Michelle), and a brother Leonard Borden (Nancy).

The Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home at 1 Mohawk Avenue, Scotia, NY, will be open at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, for those who wish to call.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m.
