Sally B. Conley, 88, of Glenville, passed away Saturday December 5, 2020 at Ellis Hospital.
Sally was born July 25, 1932 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to the late William and Mary C.Banks. She grew up in Massachusetts and Maine.
In 1954 Sally married Daniel Conley and eventually settled to raise their family in Scotia, NY.
Sally and her husband owned and operated Conley Designs in Schenectady until the early 90's. She later worked at the Scotia-Glenville Middle and High schools. Sally had been a past Soroptimist and in the auxiliary for the S-G Elks. She loved animals, especially birds and dogs.
She was predeceased by her husband Dan in 2010 and granddaughters Kristen Conley and Kelly Doherty.
Sally is survived by a brother William Banks and a sister Doris Auger; by four sons William (Nanci), Michael (Cheryl), Richard, Daniel Jr. (Patricia); two daughters Julie Conley (Ken Rota), Doreen (Robb) Clemons; grandchildren Danielle, Brooke, Ryan, Nicole, Lauren, Corrine and Mary and four step grandchildren.
Services were held at the convenience of the family. Special thanks to her caring neighbors at Glenville Terrace and the staff at Glendale Nursing Home.
