Coager, Robert J., 62, of Scotia NY. Son of the late Robert D. Coager and Gloria (Parlapiano) Coager.
Born in Schenectady, NY, he was a lifelong Scotia Resident. A graduate of Scotia Glenville High School, SUNY Morrisville and Utica College.
He worked as a Specialty Pharmaceutical Representative for CVS Caremark and previously for Novartis.
Bob was an avid Horseman who was passionate about horses and Thoroughbred Racing. Bob was very generous to many organizations to include St. Jude's Children's Hospital, News 10 Coats for Kids, ASPCA, Animal Protective Foundation and The Retired Thoroughbred Foundation.
He is survived by his sister, Kimberly (Coager) Madden (Daniel). Nieces Amanda Madden and Kaci Madden, partner Penny Cole and her family, Jeff Cole (Cassie), Jen Cole (Mark), their children Zoe, Cora and Alaina (Poppy's kids). Bob is also survived by his Aunts Eleanor Parlapiano, Joanne Parlapiano, Susan Jones (Robert) and Harriet (Coager) Burns, as well as cousins and lifelong friends too numerous to mention.
The family would like to thank many people who supported Bob's journey to include the staff at New York Oncology, Dr. David Shaffer, Dr. Brian Murray, Dr. Christian Gasson, as well as St. Peter's Hospice Care. Very special thanks to Michael Gelber and Ken Wilkins.
Per his family's request, there will be no services and burial will be private.
