Peternella (Petie) Zmyewski Obituary

Peternella (Petie) Zmyewski Peternella (Petie) Zmyewski passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025. She was the daughter of Sarah Califano (Benware) and Walter J. Gaughan of Bloomingdale N.Y.

Petie had 2 children, a son Peter J. Zmyewski Jr. of Schenectady (deceased) and a daughter Christine Orbe (Zmyewski) of Massachusetts. She worked for the General Electric Company in Schenectady for 30 years retiring to Florida in the year 2000.

Petie is survived by her daughter Christine (husband Stephen Orbe) of Harwich Massachusetts and cousins Thomas Benware and Bettyann Benware.
