I am so sorry for your loss. I know Opal from Kingsway where my mother resided for 5 years until she passed in December. My mom sat at the dining table with Opal and I would talk to her and occasionally assist her. I always stopped to speak with her whenever I saw her in the hallway, even if only briefly. Opal was truly a sweet lady even in her confusion. So nice to read about her life and see the picture of her as a younger woman.

I spent many happy hours in Opal's home as a school & neighborhood friend of her daughter Nancy. She was always cheerful, welcoming, and gracious to me, often working in the garden and never minding our many cooking adventures. Her kindness is fondly remembered.
