Olive A Wells

Glenville - Olive A. Wells, 94, passed away on October 23, 2016 at the Glendale Home after a long illness.

She was born at home on July 15, 1922 to the late Harold and Jesse (Alsdorf) Tatlock of West Glenville, NY.

She was a lifelong resident of the West Glenville area. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased
by her second husband, Arthur Wells. She was employed at General Electric for over 47 years. She was a member
of the GE Women’s Club, Quarter Century Club, Glenville Senior Center, Cranesville Country Cousins
and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed playing golf in local leagues and in Florida where she wintered for many years. She also enjoyed personal journaling.

Olive is survived by her son, Richard Schultz, Jr.; granddaughter, Kimberly Sumner (Samuel); great-grandsons,
Casey and Cody Sumner; and significant other, Frank Corbo.

She was a kind and generous person who had concern for everyone in her life. She had many friends locally and in Florida, many of whom she met through her love of golf.

A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. on October 28, 2016 at The Glenville Cemetery. A gathering
will take place at The Turf Tavern in Scotia at 12 p.m. after the ceremony.
