Michele "Schellie" Tedesco Obituary

Michele "Schellie" J. Tedesco, 64, of Schenectady, NY, passed away on July 1, 2022 from natural causes at her beloved campground where she spent summers with her husband.

She was born to Ronald and Mary "Pat" Brown in Watertown NY on September 11, 1957. She spent most of her career working for NYS in the Department of Criminal Justice.

Upon her retirement she and her beloved husband, Richard Tedesco (June 9, 1952 - October 2, 2021) spent their time together camping around NYS until settling into a campground in Roseboom NY.

She left behind her daughters: Casey Tedesco, Kari (Jeffrey) Schaeffer and her beloved grands: CJ and Cambria Schaeffer, her brother: Mark Brown along with a multitude of family and friends.

To honor Richard and Schellie's memory, the family is holding a celebration of their life on Wednesday, July 20 at Bekkering Ellis Funeral Home, 1 Mohawk Avenue, Scotia NY from 4-6 p.m. We invite anyone who knew them to attend and remember their wonderful life.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation to Community Hospice Foundation, Gift Processing Center, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208 in Rich's name or American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 (form online) in Schellie's name.
