Lillian J. Hill

Lillian J. Hill of Glenville, NY passed away on July 7, 2023 after a long illness. She was born on March 30, 1943, one of eleven siblings. Lil was a graduate of Perth High School. She acquired many life skills from helping out on the family farm in her younger years. She married the late Harold (Bunker) Hill July 28, 1963. Lil held an array of part time jobs varying from home interior and gardening while raising her three children. Lil loved the outdoors, especially gardening, and watching the wildlife that would pass through her yard.

Lil is survived by her children Debbie (Dale) Leffler and Charles (Amy) Hill. Siblings, Raymond Abraham; Luther (Lera) Abraham; Howard (Darla) Abraham; Robert (Carol) Abraham; Ronald (Catherine) Abraham; Marion (Michael) Kratky, Dorothy Plunz (late Louis Mack) and Marvin Abraham. Grandchildren Rachel Leffler (Cameron Bishop); Jacob Leffler (Meradith Liedel); James Hill; step granddaughter Sarah Bickford. Several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lil was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Dorothy Abraham; her beloved daughter Darlene Hill; loving husband Harold (Bunker) Hill; brothers George Abraham; Donald Abraham; nephews Mark Abraham; Raymond Abaham Jr. and Frederick Abraham; infant granddaughter Charlee Rose Hill.

Funeral Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday July 15, 2023 at the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, Inc. located at 1 Mohawk Avenue Scotia NY 12302. The funeral home will be open at 9 a.m. prior to the services for those who wish to call.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Hospital or Shriners Hospital in lieu of flowers.
