JoDene Beth O'Malley

Jodene (Jody) Beth O'Malley, 53, passed suddenly in her home in Scotia on August 24, 2017.

She was born in Schenectady, NY and attended Linton High School and worked for the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.

Jody was survived by her two sons, Sean Louis O'Malley (Jodi Nobile) and John Joseph O'Malley; sisters, Lisa and Karen; brother, Daniel; and many loving friends and family.

She was predeceased by her husband and soulmate of 24 years, John Robert O'Malley; her brother, David Hotaling; and parents, Lewis and Florence Hotaling.

Jody loved spending time at Sacandaga Lake and was a huge animal lover, especially with her dog, Chevy.

Calling Hours are beginning at 10 a.m. at Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home on Mohawk Avenue in Scotia on Monday, August 28th and she will be at rest with her husband at Park Cemetery in Scotia.
