Henry L. Frenger Sr { POPS} on 4/20/2021 entered heaven to join his wife Janan.
Henry was born March 14, 1945 at the Jewish Memorial Hospital in NYC. At age 5 moved to Schroon Lake, NY. Graduated from Schroon Lake Central Schools in 1964.
In 1965 joined the US Army where he served with the Military Police in Vietnam during ,Tet Offensive. In 1967 after returning home he attended Hudson Valley Community College and earned his Associates in Mortuary Science.
October 5, 1968 he married the love of his life, Janan. They relocated to Scotia -Glenville where they have been life-long residents since the 1970's. He had many careers, the one he was most proud of helping his two sons, Hank and Dave run Shiney Window Wash where he was known as "the old man" to their loyal customers.
He loved going camping to Fish Creek Campgrounds and his annual trips to Cape Cod with his family.. Also loved his "boys weekends" taking in Nascar races.
Henry is survived by his children, Hank { Dorine} Frenger, Dave Frenger and Katie Frenger. Also survived by his sister, Nancy { Gary} Tanner. Henry is also survived by his Grandson Zachary Frenger and also his Step-Granddaughters Ashley and Amanda Childs. He will also be sorely missed by his beloved dogs, Marley and Sweetwater who enjoyed their van rides with Pops down to Collins lake to sit and watch the ducks. Also his beloved cat, Winston.
The family wanted to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff on the 8th floor at the Albany VA and also the staff at the Eddy Memorial in Troy, NY.

Services will be Monday April 26,2021 at Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home. Calling hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. At 10 to 10:30 will be a prayer service.
Following the prayer service will be burial at 12 p.m. at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
