Helen A (Dagastino) DeLorenzo

Helen A. DeLorenzo, 98, of Schenectady, NY, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 at Glendale Nursing Facility in Glenville, NY.

Born on April 21, 1918 in Schenectady, NY, Helen was a lifetime area resident and homemaker.

Helen was married to the late Arthur T. DeLorenzo, who passed away in 1952. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Dagastino. She is predeceased by her son, Arthur S. DeLorenzo; and brother, Victor Dagastino.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Delores DeLorenzo, Patricia Gordon, Carol Meehan and Donna DeLorenzo; sister, Clara DeLuca; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, Inc., 1 Mohawk Ave., Scotia, NY. Calling hours will be Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., prior to services. Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, NY. Arrangements are by the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, Inc., 1 Mohawk Ave., Scotia, NY 12302.
