Florence Marion Dolen

Florence Marion Dolen, 95, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the Baptist Health, Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Florence was born on February 21, 1928 in Amsterdam, NY. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Francis and Florence Marion (Heck) Dolen. Florence was a secretary at the General Electric for many years before retiring.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Edmond Richard and Margaret Anne Marion Dolen. Florence is the aunt of Linda Arocho, Patricia DeGuerro, Judy Hart and many more nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond Charles Dolen, Robert James Dolen, and Herbert Donald Dolen; also her sisters, Jane Ellen Gross, Mary Frances Evans, and Eleanor Ruth Wright.

Funeral Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, Inc. The funeral home will be open at 10 a.m. prior to the services for those who wish to call.

Interment will be in Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
