Evelyn E (Teater) Deamer

Evelyn E. Deamer (Teater), 102, of Scotia passed away peacefully February 23, 2023, with family by her side.

Evelyn is predeceased by her husband Joseph Deamer Sr., sons Victor and Richard Deamer and daughter Dorothy Olsen. She is survived by her sons Joseph Deamer Jr. (Cathy), Ralph Deamer (Nellie) and daughter Diane Deamer (Helen). She is lovingly remembered with a warm smile as Grandma and Granny by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and Aunt Emmy by her nieces and nephew.

Evelyn was born in Leeds, NY on November 10, 1920. She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Scotia and Order of the Eastern Star. She raised six children and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to camp and she traveled to many places including Europe.

Calling hours will be at Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, 1 Mohawk Ave., Scotia, NY 12302 on Wednesday, March 1st 10 a.m to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at Schenectady Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
