Eino John Saukko, 98, of Scotia, NY, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
Eino was born on May 3, 1920 in Manhattan, NY to the late John and Rauha (Hamberg) Saukko.
He was educated at Scotia High School and was a longtime area resident of Scotia, NY. He was a Draftsman at GE in Schenectady, NY. Eino was in the U.S. Navy, WWII. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club.
Eino married the late Lore (Schoenhardt) Saukko and she predeceased him on August 9, 1992.He is survived by several cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Park Cemetery, Scotia, NY at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning, May 19, 2018. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
