Donna Jean Bazicki

Donna Jean Bazicki, 69, of Glenville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at her home.

Born in Albany on July 19, 1948, Donna was the daughter of Catherine Manley and the late Martin Thompson.

Donna was married to the love of her life, Jeff Bazicki, for over 34 years and they were inseparable. They loved their annual trips to Ogunquit, Maine, and going to country music concerts.

Donna loved her family deeply, especially her grandsons, Paulie and Ian. They were her joy!

Donna was always cooking up something delicious in the kitchen and her family, friends and co-workers loved to sample her creations.

Donna worked as a medical secretary for 34 years. She made many great friends along the way, which she loved dearly.

In addition to her devoted husband, Jeff; Donna is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Lukasiewicz (Paul) and Catherine Marker; as well as her cherished grandsons, Paul Lukasiewicz III and Ian Viall. She is also survived by her mother, Catherine Manley; brothers, Martin Thompson (Sharon), Michael Thompson (Eileen), Kerry Thompson (Anne) and her sister, Michele Dunican (Garry); plus many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at 8 p.m. with calling hours from 6 to 8 at the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, 1 Mohawk Avenue, Scotia, NY 12302.
