Carol I. Graves (Pawlowski) Glenville- Carol I. Graves (Pawlowski), 74, of Glenville, NY, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on August 23, 2024 after a long battle with kidney disease.
Carol was born in Schenectady, NY on November 7, 1949. She graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School and continued her education at Cobleskill State University before going to work at Union College.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved parents Edward and Ethel (Mayne) Pawlowski.
She was a devoted mother to Timothy (Sarah) Graves and Shelly (Josh) Graves of Glenville and a beloved grandmother to Karissa, Kaleb, Kayden, Timothy Jr., Olivia and Paul Graves.
She is survived by a sister, Sandra Pawlowski of Clifton Park, and brother, Paul (Robin) of Westford, MA and their children Edward (Laura), Justin and John.
Carol adored her grandchildren, loved her pets, was an avid bird and bunny-watcher who often was found reading a book and staying on top of world news. Carol was the bravest lady who lived life on her terms with grace, dignity and class! She will be tremendously missed.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on August 29, 2024, at Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, 1 Mohawk Ave, Scotia. Burial service will be held August 30, 2024, at 10 a.m. in Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Kidney Fund or the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
