Beverly A Brady

Beverly A. Brady, (a resident of Avila), died on January 13 at the Teresian House, she was 89 years of age.

Beverly was born on December 17, 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri, and grew up there, graduating from The Loretto Academy in June 1944, and going on to receive a BA in Mathematics from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in June 1951. Following graduation, she joined the General Engineering Lab of the General Electric Company in Schenectady, NY. And worked there until June 1959, when her first baby was born. In later, she worked at the Schenectady County Community College as an instructor in the Math Department. During all this time, she worked toward a Masters Degree in Mathmatics.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 58 years, Deacon Robert R. Brady; and two children, Michael A. Brady (Stacey) of Destin, Florida and Maureen B. Busch (Michael) of Stow, MA; and also five grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 18 at the Bekkering Ellis Funeral Home, 1 Mohawk Ave., Scotia, NY from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Extension, Albany, NY at 11 a.m. on January 19, 2017.
