Audrey J (Bolt) Hagadorn

Wells, NY - Audrey J. Hagadorn died peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 12, 2016. Born June 17, 1940 in Saratoga Springs, NY to the late Gordon and Miriam Bolt, she was in the first graduating class of 1958 and created the Scotia Glenville SG design for the school letters.

After attending cosmetology school she returned back to become a head teacher for several years. When her beloved children were born she changed her focus to be a stay at home mom. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed singing with the Mohawk Valley Chorus, gardening and traveling.

 She was the wife of William Hagadorn; loving mother to Ben (Renee) Hagadorn, Ryan Hagadorn, Sara (Ben) Roberts. Proud grandmother to Olivia, Alison, Jillian, Hannah, Hailey, Harmony, Jack and William. Sisters, Patricia (late Arne) late Judith (Hugh) and late Alice (Lewis), several nieces and nephews; Steven (Jill), Linda (Keith), Kathleen (James), Kris and Nicole (John).

Through this spiritual journey she has remained solid in her faith. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Audrey with calling hours at the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, 1 Mohawk Avenue, Scotia on Friday, September 16th 4-7pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17th at 11:00am at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 547 Saratoga Road, Burnt Hills. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Scotia. One of her final wishes was all who attend come in bright colors to reflect her joyful personality, please no black.
