Andimo Coppola

Andimo Coppola, 77, of Maple Ave., Glenville, passed away suddenly on Thursday after a lengthy 8 year illness. He was born in Amsterdam, NY on October 19, 1937 to Anthony Coppola and Mary Venerosa. He was owner/operator of TAC Refuse Service and Andy's Catering. He retired in 2006 as Town of Glenville Commissioner of Public Works. He served in the U.S. Army. Andimo was a member of the Alplaus Fire Department, Guan Ho Ha Fish & Game Club, Sons of Italy and The Elks Club. He married Patricia Dennebaum on February 11, 1961 at St. John's in Schenectady. She predeceased him on March 25, 2012. He is survived by his sisters, Angelina, Rosemarie and Antoinette; children, Cathy Visco and her husband Mike, Andrew Coppola and his wife Janice and Thomas Coppola and his wife Tara; grandchildren, Alex, Cassandra and Caleb Coppola and Dominick and Andrew Visco. A Graveside service was held on August 22, 2015 for family. Burial at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Alplaus Fire Department.
