Linda J. Adams Ormin, 58, passed peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Albany County Nursing Home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Linda was born in Washington D.C., on August 13, 1959, daughter of the late Raymond E. Adams and Marie Adams Jones.
She received her GED while enlisted in the U.S. Navy. She worked at the Glenville Queen Diner in Glenville, NY. Linda was a determined soul, always wore a smile and was a large hearted person with a feisty personality. She was lovingly known as ‘Tweety Bird’ by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children, Dylan, Cody, and Devin; her brothers and sisters, Raymond (Jacquelynn) Adams of Frederick, MD, Richard (Pam) Adams of Woodbridge, VA, Deborah (Patrick) Gallagher of Pittsburgh, PA, Stephan Adams of Orange, VA, Donald (Sharon) Adams of Appomattox, VA and Brenda (James) Einhorn of Stafford, VA; as well as her loving uncles, aunts, many cousins, nephews and nieces. Linda was predeceased by her sister, Dawn Woodward.
She will be sorely missed by family, friends and all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later time for family and friends.
