Steve & Chris,, sorry to hear about your wife/mom. Michele Tabbano, who I watch bowl every week, was telling me how she knew Deb well, Thursday, although I didn't make we connection until I saw the Obit., on Friday. Even though I couldn't get her to play with us, I'm sure I introduced her to you. Once again we're sorry, we'll touch base with you, one of these Thursdays.

Today we say goodbye to dear friend and co-worker, Deb Fawcett. The toughest and bravest woman I have ever known! Deb was an energetic and driving force behind so many of the changes we have made over the last few years, and when she received her diagnosis it only strengthened her resolve and enhanced her already intense work ethic. For four years she fought publicly and privately this dreaded disease and she never let us see it get her down. Always positive that she would beat this thing, she entered and completed the management training program, all the while completing her daily tasks, integrating a new company, leading her department, and battling cancer. Deb literally worked up until just days before her passing, lending a hand and patiently teaching as was her trademark. Deb was a friend to all, and a beacon of light for others in our organization that were also suffering from cancer at the same time. She was not going to go. The disease was going to have to take her.
I will miss my friend Deb Fawcett, as will so may others, but she left us with an undying legacy of spirit in the face of adversity. A memory that will continue to drive others to fight, but also a reminder to take every precious ounce of life God has given us and make good use of it. We were blessed to have Deb Fawcett in our lives!
